Welcome !
I am affiliated with the University of Antananarivo, serve as a Senior Economist at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Madagascar, and lecture in economics at the University of Itasy, the University of Antsirabe, and the École Nationale Supérieure in Antananarivo.
My research interests lie at the intersection of Law and Economics, Institutional Economics, Public Policy, and Development Economics. My doctoral research develops stochastic and game-theoretic models of deterrence and illegal activities, with broader applications to legal design, enforcement strategies, and regulatory institutions. More recently, my work has expanded to institutional quality and reform dynamics in Sub-Saharan Africa, macroeconomic convergence and regional integration, digital finance and financial inclusion, and sustainable and biodiversity finance. I also examine the design and effectiveness of redistributive systems, social protection, and other public-policy instruments in developing economies.
I obtained my PhD in Economics in 2024 from the University of Antananarivo , under the supervision of Razafindravonona Jean. During my doctoral studies, I was also affiliated with the Centre d’Études Économiques (CEE).
