I am currently seeking a postdoctoral position. I am affiliated with the University of Antananarivo, serve as a Senior Economist at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Madagascar, and lecture in economics at the University of Itasy, the University of Antsirabe, and the École Nationale Supérieure in Antananarivo.
I am on the academic job market this fall 2024/2025.
My research interests are in Law and Economics , the Economics of crime , and the Economic Analysis of Public Policies . My thesis develops stochastic and innovative models of deterrence economics with applications to illegal activities, and more broadly explores how economic analysis can inform Legal Design and Enforcement Strategies . I also work on Inequality , Redistributive Systems , and the role of social safety nets in Developing economies .
I obtained my PhD in Economics in 2024 from the University of Antananarivo , under the supervision of Razafindravonona Jean. During my doctoral studies, I was also affiliated with the Centre d’Études Économiques (CEE).
